Competition and Performance Schedule:
 

• Saturday, September 9, 2023: Friends and Family Day

  • ​Roslyn High School​​

PLEASE BRING LUNCH WITH YOU – YOU WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO LEAVE THE BUILDING. Also, please remember to bring all necessary items for a full performance - socks, shoes, garment bag, costume/uniform, etc. Uniforms, costumes, and shoes for new members will be handed out on 9/9 @ 4:15pm in the band room.

* THERE WILL BE NO PLAYING INSTRUMENTS IN THE MORNING. PLEASE DO NOT PLAY UNTIL YOU ARE TOLD TO DO SO BY A STAFF MEMBER

8:45am: Arrive for unload. Go to Roslyn HS baseball field (need all necessary instruments/equipment/drill books/ costume/uniform for performance)

9:30am-10:15: Sectionals (visual only). Pit bring instruments into the Main Gym

10:20am: Winds, battery, and guard on baseball field (visual focus)

11:45am-12:30pm: Lunch (costume distribution) 

12:30pm: Move to turf field 

1:00pm: Warm up

1:15pm-4:15pm: Full Ensemble on turf field (start with mvmt. 3)

4:15pm-5:15pm: Get ready (full uniform, hair/makeup, etc.)
5:20pm: Gate Time (Full on and off the field)

5:30pm: Friends and Family Performance

5:40pm: Load truck and both trailers

6:30pm: Depart Roslyn HS

Reminder: The trucks and trailers will already be loaded. 

PLEASE BRING LUNCH WITH YOU – YOU WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO PURCHASE FOOD AT THE SHOW. Also, please remember to bring all necessary items for a full performance - long black socks, shoes, hair gel, comb/brush, garment bag, show shirt under uniform, costume/uniform, etc.

Woodwinds and brass: instruments and cases go on the bus
Battery: drums go on the bus; your cases should be packed
Guard: flag bags go on the bus

8:45am: Arrive at Roslyn High School (get show ready)

9:15am: Buses Arrive (PLEASE BRING BREAKFAST FOR THE BUS RIDE)

9:30am: Buses depart Roslyn High School

10:15am: Arrive at Brentwood High School/South Middle School (use bathroom, get instruments/equipment, proceed to warm-up area)

10:45am-12:45pm: Sectionals

12:50pm: Proceed to gate

12:58pm: Gate Time

1:11pm: Performance Time

1:45pm: Retreat

2:45pm: Depart Brentwood High School for Roslyn

3:30pm: Arrive at Roslyn High School

• Saturday, September 23, 2023:  Homecoming - CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

  • Roslyn High School

Please remember to bring all necessary items for a full performance - long black socks, shoes, hair gel, comb/brush, garment bag, show shirt under uniform, costume/uniform, etc.

9:30am: All MB students unload trucks and trailers, put things together and put all equipment off to the side on the grass (nothing can block the pathways heading to the field). 

10:00am: Building open for guard to do hair/make-up 

11:00am: Parade rehearsal at Roslyn HS
11:15am: Warm-ups (in front of band room doors outside)
12:00pm: Line up for parade

12:15pm: Parade Step-Off
Parade Route: West on Round Hill Road, north on Roslyn Road/Main Street, east past the clock tower and across Old Northern Boulevard (band only stops here and the rest of the parade continues), south on east broadway, south on Roslyn Road, east on Harbor Hill Road to the High School Football Field.

12:45pm: Lunch (Band Fans buying pizza for all members). We will get bussed back to the HS and eat in the CAFETERIA. 
2:00pm: Football game Start

3:00pm: Line up at gate for performance
3:15pm: Approximate Performance Time
3:30pm: Load truck and both trailers

4:45pm: Depart
