Winter Guard
When the marching band season ends, many of our members continue spinning as members of our winter guard. Winter guard takes place indoors (in a gymnasium), and involves students performing to recorded music with intellectual productions, elaborate scenery and props. Our winter guard appears in the Mid Atlantic Indoor Network (MAIN) locally, as well as Winter Guard International (WGI) at the national level. In their first ever competitive season, the Roslyn winter guard was named the 2023 MAIN Scholastic A class Gold Medalists. In 2024 at their very-first appearance in a national-level competition, Roslyn placed 4th in Scholastic A Class at the WGI Eastern Regional Championship finals and earned a top-25 ranking of all competitive programs in the nation
